Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Interactic Media Kft. ("we", the data controller) handles personal data collected through interacticmedia.com, in line with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Hungarian data-protection law.

02What we process, why, and on what basis

A · Contact / profit-audit form

Data: name, email address, website or store URL, monthly ad spend, message content.

Purpose: to answer your enquiry, prepare the free profit audit, send a proposal, and stay in touch.

Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request prior to a contract; and Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries.

Retention: 12 months from your last contact. If an engagement begins, for its duration plus the 5-year limitation period (Civil Code), and 8 years for accounting documents (Accounting Act).

B · Careers / "introduce yourself"

Data: name, email address, message, and any details you choose to provide (e.g. a portfolio link).

Purpose: to assess you as a potential collaborator and get in touch.

Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) — consent; and Art. 6(1)(b) — pre-contractual steps.

Retention: until you withdraw your consent. We review the relevance of held applications periodically and delete those no longer relevant.

C · Technical data (server logs)

Data: IP address, browser and device type, time of visit, pages requested.

Purpose: secure operation of the website, troubleshooting, and prevention of abuse.

Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest.

Retention: typically 30 days at our hosting provider.

03Cookies

This website uses third-party tools that set cookies and share data with their providers: the Meta (Facebook) Pixel (advertising measurement and retargeting), Google Analytics 4 (site-usage statistics), and Hotjar (heatmaps and session analytics to improve the site). They collect data such as your IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, and on-site actions including submitting the contact form (recorded as a "Lead"). The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time. We use no other marketing or analytics cookies; your language is set by the page address (/ and /hu/), not by a cookie, and fonts are served from our own domain.

04Recipients and processors

05International transfers

Some processors (e.g. Vercel, Meta, Google, Calendly) may process data in the United States. Such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards: the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

06Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal). To exercise any right, email mate@interacticmedia.com. We respond without undue delay, within one month (extendable by a further two months where necessary).

07Automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

08Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access control, supported by our providers' security practices.

You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
